This Saturday 23rd July the annual Pitch n Putt competition will take place at the driving range. Registration can be made (with Spanish Golf Federation licence) either at the range or in the “Bodega del Chico”. Registration to be made by Thursday 21^st July.

Entry costs €20 and includes the competition, drinks after the event, prizes for different categories and a wonderful paella for all the players.

Please note the practice ground in Benahavis will be closed this Saturday 23^rd from 10:00 – 17:00 in order that the annual pitch and putt competition can take place.

The Spanish show horse jumping championships is being held at the Marbella Club, Benahavis, this weekend on the 23^th, 24^th and 25^th of July from 18:00hrs. Entrance is free, there will be a bouncy castle and face painting for the kids’ entertainment.

2010 FERIA OF BENAHAVIS POSTER COMPETITION

Rules to participate:

1st. Theme: To create a theme conveying the Feria and Festival of 2010 for advertising purposes, the image may be a logo, a mascot, coat of arms or any other image which will serve the intended use.

2nd. PARTICIPATION:  Anybody can take part in this competition, with the exception of members of the jury-whether professional or amateur.

3rd. REGISTRATION:  It’s free, being able to submit at many prize worthy candidates, which will be submitted in a sealed envelope under a pseudonym in the town hall of Benahavis, located in Plaza del Castillo or by mail. The image/picture must be inside the envelope with the participant name, address and telephone number.

4th. FORM AND FORMAT: The picture must be in in A3 or A4. On the back it should include the contestant’s nickname or motto.

5th. DEADLINE: The deadline for submission of work is until the  12th of July, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 p.m.  There will be no more admitting after that date. The results will be put on the Town hall notice board

6th. PRIZE: There is only one prize of € 200.00 for the contestant who finishes in first place.

7th. RIGHTS: All winning works will become property of the town hall of Benahavis, which may expose, published and edited it at any time present or future and always giving credit to the author.

8th. JURY: Will be composed of Councillors D. José Antonio Mena Castilla, Ms. M ª Isabel Sánchez Guerrero, D ª M ª José Guerrero Guerrero, Eleuterio D. Romero Castilla, D. José Ruiz Gutierrez and D. Antonio Castaño Sánchez. The ruling was made public in the Notice Board of the Town Hall. The Jury’s decision is final, subject to viewing of the presented participants can declare any of the prizes if in the opinion of the so deemed.

9th. ACCEPTANCE: Participation in this competition implies acceptance of these terms and conditions of those who attend the same.

10th APPROVAL: The present regulations have been approved by the Local Government Committee at its meeting on 9 June 2010.

CONCURSO CARTEL DE FERIA 2010

BASES:

1ª. TEMA: Constituye el objeto de este Concurso la elaboración de imagen representativa de la Feria y Fiestas de 2010 para su uso publicitario, pudiendo dicha imagen ser un logotipo, mascota, escudo o cualquiera otra que sirva para el uso pretendido.

2ª. PARTICIPANTES: Podrán participar todas las personas que lo deseen –con la excepción de los miembros del Jurado-, ya sean profesionales o aficionados.

3ª. INSCRIPCIÓN: Gratuita, pudiéndose concursar con tantas obras como se desee, las cuáles serán presentadas en sobre cerrado y bajo pseudónimo en la sede del Ayuntamiento de Benahavís, sito en Plaza del Castillo o por correo. Junto al trabajo presentado deberá introducirse sobre cerrado con expresión del pseudónimo, en cuyo interior se consignará el nombre, apellidos, domicilio y teléfono del concursante.

4ª. MODALIDAD Y FORMATO: La modalidad será libre en folio tamaño A3 ó A4. Al dorso se hará constar el pseudónimo o lema del concursante.

5ª. PLAZO DE ENTREGA: El plazo de presentación de los trabajos lo será desde la fecha de publicación de las Bases en el Tablón de Anuncios de este Ayuntamiento hasta el lunes 12 de julio, de lunes a viernes en horario de 8:30 h a 14:30 h., no admitiéndose aquellos que sean recepcionados después de dicha fecha.

6ª. PREMIO: Se establece un único premio de 200,00 € al concursante que quede en primer lugar.

7ª. DERECHOS: Todas las obras premiadas pasarán a ser propiedad del Ayuntamiento de Benahavís, que podrá exponerlas, publicarlas y editarlas, en cualquier momento presente o futuro, citando siempre al autor.

8ª. JURADO: Estará integrado por los Concejales D. José Antonio Mena Castilla, Dª. Mª Isabel Guerrero Sánchez, Dª Mª José Guerrero Guerrero, D.Eleuterio Romero Castilla, D. José Ruiz Gutiérrez y D. Antonio Castaño Sánchez. El fallo se hará público en el Tablón de Anuncios de este Ayuntamiento. El fallo del Jurado será inapelable, sin perjuicio de que a la vista de los trabajos presentados pueda declarar desierto cualquiera de los premios si a juicio del mismo así se estimara.

9ª. ACEPTACIÓN: La participación en este concurso implica la total aceptación de las presentes bases de quienes al mismo concurran.

10ª APROBACION: Las presentes bases han sido aprobadas por la Junta de Gobierno Local en sesión celebrada con fecha 9 de junio de 2010.
