The mayor Jose Antonio Mena Castillo takes great pleasure in inviting the neighbours of Benahavis to celebrate Andalucía day on February 28th. There will be a formal celebration at 13:00 hrs in the town hall followed by an aperitif in the Pabellón Cubierto.

The feria starts on the 12 and finishes on the 15th of August.

Thursday the 12 of August
21.00 h Inauguration and feria lights will be turned on by the local authorities.  All this with parties and a passacaglia with Bob Sponge.
23.00 h The local dances will be held in the village square, all with music from “Mar salá” and “Ibiris”.
0.00 h Benahavis begins with the comedian Manolo Doña. After that the coronation and prizes will be given to the Queens and runners up for the Benahavis feria 2010. All this will be presented by Miguel Morito, the director of Punto Radio Benahavis.

Friday the 13th
13.00 h Traditional games for children (sack races, the apple game…) all in the Andalucia Avenue.
14.00 h Paella and Beer for all attendees in the Andalucia avenue.
17.00 h Laura from the television program “La Copla” will be performing in the sports centre at the entrance of the village. The invitation will be given out by the town hall before the concert.
16.00 h The world of Benahaventura, with water attractions in the municipal swimming pool.
19.00 h Foam party in the sports centre.
23.00 h Dances start at the square of España by the orchestras “Mar Slá” and “Ibiris”.

Saturday the 14th
13.00 h Traditional games for children all in the Andalucia avenue.
14.00 h Chorizitos in wine, for all attendees in the Andalucia avenue.
16.00 h Tape race in the Andalucia avenue.
17.30 h Children snack at the Andalucia avenue, the will be animation on behalf of “Magic Fiesta”.
19.00 h Stupidity and meringue, in the park next to the kids Daidin park.
23.00 h Dances start at the square of España by the orchestras “Mar Slá” and “Ibiris”.

Sunday the 15
10.30 h XXXII Benahavis Trial, organized by Don José Antonio Romero.
13.00 h Traditional games for children all in the Andalucia Avenue.
14.00 h Fish food day.
14.30 h Live music
18.00 h Sesame street performance.
20.30 h Rociera Mass at the Church.
